The Trading Clock moved from a separate concept toward a review-ready session-awareness surface. The emerging hierarchy centers on two questions: what is happening NOW, and what happens NEXT?
Separate persistent state from events
The Candle and Clock distinguish continuous session context from transitions that deserve temporary emphasis. Intraday labels identify the current part of the day without allowing every milestone to compete equally.
Give NOW and NEXT distinct jobs
NOW owns the active condition. NEXT owns the upcoming event and its approach. Countdown language becomes more compact as a transition grows imminent.
Strengthen the pre-open safety sequence
The review build includes a Final Warning and TOS Lockout countdown leading into the opening bell. Urgency increases without clipping text or shifting the surrounding layout.
Rename the application around the broader instrument
The project is now described as Ambient Trading Clock rather than QQQAmbientCandles, reflecting a surface that is no longer only a pair of candles.
Give each moment one clear owner.
- NOW and NEXT are stronger organizing concepts than a collection of timers.
- A review-ready branch is not yet a release.
Move from review-ready to accepted behavior.
- Review the branch visually.
- Fix the remaining active-state path.
- Integrate only after acceptance.
