NOWEDGE began with a hardware-shaped question: what kind of trading dashboard would be useful on a Corsair XENEON EDGE beneath the main workstation displays?
ORIGIN
Originally built as a XENEON trading dashboard
Ask for a native Mac application
The first request was to create a Mac app specifically for the XENEON’s 2560×720 canvas. The display was intended as a persistent dashboard and control strip rather than another full-size charting monitor.
Build the first SwiftUI surface
The initial native prototype used five horizontal panels and included a live New York clock, a market countdown, a candle timer, simulated market context, and touch-oriented controls and launchers.
Learn what deserves permanent screen space
The first version intentionally cast a wide net. Its job was to make the unusual display tangible and reveal which information remained useful when kept continuously visible.
The project begins with a dedicated ambient surface.
- The XENEON EDGE could be treated as its own product surface.
- Designing directly for its proportions created a different opportunity than shrinking a desktop dashboard.
Discover the instrument inside the dashboard.
- Use the prototype at the desk.
- Reduce the concept to the most valuable information.
- Replace simulated components with truthful market behavior one surface at a time.
